How are your pieces made?

Every piece of Charming Quail jewelry is handcrafted with intention — designed in Colorado and created in collaboration with master metalsmiths who specialize in heirloom-quality fine jewelry. We don’t mass-produce or rush creation. Each piece is made slowly, one at a time, to honor the story behind it and ensure exceptional quality.

Are your pieces made to order?

Yes. Every piece is made to order specifically for the person who purchases it. That means nothing sits in a warehouse — your order begins a meaningful creation process from design, to casting, to clean-up, stone-setting, finishing, and final inspection.

Do you offer fast shipping or guaranteed delivery dates?

We create heirloom-quality fine jewelry slowly and intentionally, one piece at a time. Because every item is made to order, our typical production time is 6–8 weeks before shipping. We don’t rush craftsmanship, and we don’t mass-produce — each piece is created specifically for the person who orders it, with care and precision.

Where do you ship?

We currently ship within the United States, with plans to expand internationally in the future. If you are interested in purchasing from us and are located outside the United States, be sure to contact us and we'll see if we can work something out.

Do you accept custom jewelry requests?

Yes — we love creating custom pieces that carry personal meaning. If you’re interested in a custom project, please reach out and we’ll discuss possibilities, timeline, and design direction.

Can I personalize an existing design?

In many cases, yes. Minor customizations such as metal choice or gemstone options can often be accommodated. For more involved changes, we may recommend a full custom commission.

What metals do you use?

We work in high-quality precious metals such as 14k and 18k gold (yellow, rose, and white), and occasionally platinum. We choose metals intentionally for durability, heritage, and long-term wear.

What gemstones do you use?

We source ethically and offer natural, lab-grown, and alternative stones depending on the aesthetic and purpose of the piece. Each gemstone is selected for beauty and dependability. Typically we work with lab diamonds and sapphires for their superior mix of beauty, sparkle, durability and value.

What is your return policy?

Made-to-order pieces and fully custom works are crafted specifically for you, and therefore are final sale. Ready-to-ship pieces may be returned within 14 days of receiving your order, in original condition. If you have any concerns when you receive your piece, please contact us — we genuinely care and will work with you to find a solution.

How do I care for my jewelry?

Treat your jewelry like fine art. Remove before strenuous activity, swimming, or using harsh chemicals. Store in a soft pouch and clean gently with mild soap, warm water, and a soft cloth. We’re always happy to provide guidance if you have questions about wear or care.

Can I see works-in-progress or behind-the-scenes?
